Grape varieties: Gouveio (30%), Rabigato (30%) and Viosinho (40%).
Concept: In the Douro wine-making region, with a strong focus in the Baixo Corgo area, the 4 brothers from a traditional family pooled their knowledge and love of the region to create "MÃOS". The carefully selected grapes from their 130 hectare landholding have given us a wine with the typical character and aroma of the Douro.
Appellation: DOC - Douro.
Tasting Notes: "MÃOS" is a gastronomic white wine with an aroma in which white flowers and tea leaf predominate, with hints of citrus. It is a perfect balance of the freshness of the Gouveio (30%) and Rabigato (30%) grape varieties and the complexity of the Viosinho (40%).
Climate: Mediterranean
Production: 3500 bottles made on 30 October 2011.
Terroir: The grapes grow in very poor schist soils in the Baixo-Corgo region.
Winemaking: Bunches harvested manually and submitted to selection at the vineyard in 20 kg boxes. Fermentation at controlled temperatures.
Alcohol content: 13% Vol.
Storage and serving: Store at 6° C. Recommended serving temperature 12- 14°C, to be drunk at 14-16°C.
Food and wine matching: Goes well with baked fish and white meat.
